Registration is open – there is a limit of 100 participants.

There is only registration for on-site participations. We do not offer online participation.

It requires a credit card. You will receive and invoice by email when you have registered.

The price is 8400 DKK and covers accommodation (the hotel), social events, food and transport from/to Copenhagen Central Station or DTU Lyngby Campus.

How do I get my course certificate after the summer school

If you are a DTU student, you should be able to see the course as passed (BE) in the studyplanner.

If you are outside DTU and have registered following the “registration for non-DTU students” as described below, you should have received a DTU user name (something like s123456@student.dtu.dk). You should login here:

and then you should be able to access the course certificate. Please take a copy of that now and store it for later use. Your login will probably not be active for years.
If you did not receive a temporary password, you can try to reset the password. If you are completely stuck, contact Rasmus and he will forward you to the local administration.

You can find your grades and academic documentation on https://student.dtu.dk/en/vaerktoejer. After logging in, go to the “My Programme” box and select “Grades”.

BUT Rasmus why is it so complicated to register and get the certificate? Why don’t you just make a nice one for me? Because it needs to be registered in the DTU University system that you received ECTS points if anyone in 10 years wants to validate if you truly did your studies where you claimed you did them.

ECTS and course certificate (registration before or during the summer school)

Participation in the summer school will give 3 ECTS points provided that one attends all lectures, perform all exercises, and presents a poster that is prepared in advance. If you fulfill this, you will receive the 3 ECTS points and a course certificate from DTU some time after the completion of the course.

VISA invitation letters

We can supply an invitation letter for VISA applications. In order to get the invitation letter, you should:

• Register for the summer school using an official university email address
• Pay the registration cost
• Provide an official statement that you are inscribed as a Ph. D. student (by email to rapa@dtu.dk) it should be clear, transparent and verifiable:
  • This statement should be with the official university letterhead and signed by your Ph. D. supervisor or head of section/department.
  • The main Ph. D. supervisors name, title, affiliation and contact information should be stated
  • It should clearly state which university/institution/Ph. D. school that will ultimately grant the Ph. D. title
  • It should state who pays your Ph. D. salary
  • It should state who is funding the Ph. D. grant
  • It should state the start and expected end date of the Ph. D. study
  • It should state the title and overall topic of the Ph. D. study
