About

Since 2009, researchers in imaging and computer vision at the University of Copenhagen, Aalborg University, and the Technical University of Denmark have organized a Ph.D. summer school, each year focusing on a theme broadly relating to image analysis and machine learning. Since 2025 the IT university joined the organization of the summer school.

In addition to bringing international expertise into the groups, the summer schools also provide an important networking opportunity for the participants. The summer school normally has around 100 participants consisting of more than 20 faculty and 90 Ph.D. students, MSc students, and Post Docs with many different nationalities.
